So,
Hung out with Sean n' Maciel last night, and watched the NBC Thursday line up (30 Rock, Community, Parks and Recreation and The Office). This week's quote comes from 30 Rock again, but this time from Kenneth Parcell:
“I hope my legacy is a Sesame Street type TV show that promotes illiteracy in girls.”
I've decided that from now on, though, one quote a week isn't enough. So starting this week I will include quotes from all four shows:
Community
“I think that beer should be cold and boots should be dusty. I think that 9/11 was bad and freedom, well, I think that’s just a little bit better.”
Jeff Winger
The Office
Dwight Schrute: "Hardy har har. All right, picture this: snowy ash surrounds you as the flame at the end of your stick dies. There's only one hope left for you--the door to my shelter. You pound. You beg. "Dwight! Please let me in! But I ignore your cries and do not let you in. You wanna know why?"
Jim Halpert: "Because of the sign that says no pounding, no begging."
Dwight: "No, because you laughed at me. Kevin will be eaten! Pam will be taken slave! Jim will made a Warlord's Jester....Meredith will do okay."
Parks and Recreation"His real name is Dante Fiero, but he changed it to Dennis Feinstein 'cause that's way more exotic in Pawnee."
Tom Haverford
For the record, I think The Office is killing it lately. Last week's episode about Threat Level Midnight, Michael Scott's movie, was one of my favorite episodes of all time. But I think Parks and Recreation is holding on to its spot as my favorite Thursday night comedy.
Will!!
