My Hippo Collection

So,

Darby bought me a hand-crafted hippo in Venice.

I'm going to add it to my collection–which includes an ivory hippo from Africa given to me by my friends Shaun and Nicki Ross, and a wooden hippo my friend Laura brought me from India.

I also have the hippo tattoo on my shoulder, which I got for my birthday in Victoria in 2008.

And I can't forget to mention my hippo painting, which hangs in my kitchen, which was created by the talented Andrea Zittlau.

For those of who who don't know, the hippo is my power animal.

This was confirmed by the shaman I lived with in the Yukon this summer, an awesome woman named Gaye.

Anyways, I think I've started a pretty respectable collection. (Thanks, Darby!)
