Happy Birthday, Lynn!

So,

We went to Lunenburg for Lynn's birthday dinner tonight.

Headed to our favorite restaurant, The Salt Shaker, and gorged ourselves on mussels, lobster and scallops.

Ever since moving here, I've become obsessed with seafood.

Darby and I are moving to Halifax in a few days, so it was nice to spend some time with her parents. Afterwards we went for a walk on the boardwalk and took some photos.

I'm still learning how to use Darby's camera, which is a Canon (my old camera was a Nikon) but I'm getting used to it. I thought I'd get some nice shots of the area and the birthday girl.

(For the record: Lynn just turned 38. Don't bother doing the math.)

Lately I've got us watching Boardwalk Empire, which seems appropriate since Nova Scotia was one of the main sources of bootlegged liquor during the American Prohibition.

August has been pretty low-key since our departure from The Ovens. We've been jogging, reading and spending as much time as we can on the beach. But I think we're both looking forward to getting to Halifax, finding jobs and learning a new city.

Check out the rest of the photos after the jump.

Will!!
