So,

Ricky Gervais caught some flak for Tweeting this message earlier in the week. I think he has a fairly solid point.

If you haven't been following the news, the Taliban shot Malala Yousafzai in the face and neck while she was boarding a bus to school in Pakistan. They shot a second teenage girl in the process.

Her crime? Wanting an education. Afterwards, they rushed to take credit for the attempted murder, saying Yousafzai was acting "un-Islamic".

Fuck those guys.

This girl has been campaigning for equal education for girls since she was eleven years old. She has become an international celebrity since the attack. You can read more about her HERE.

Meanwhile, Felix Baumgartner jumped out of space (fucking space!) and landed safely on the ground. He became the first human being to break the sound barrier.
